Volunteer Workforce
Volunteers support staff in the delivery of quality, compassionate healthcare, to patients, clients, residents and families. Working together with the staff, they contribute a most important ingredient - love and concern for people, creating an atmosphere of compassion and goodwill, through a kind word or friendly smile.
As a volunteer, you gain an opportunity to:
-
Work as a member of a healthcare team;
-
Obtain references for employment or school;
-
Network with other volunteers and healthcare professionals;
-
Attend various educational workshops;
-
Develop personally;
-
Develop new skills;
-
Attend recognition events
-
Make new friends
Inspired by the example of St. Marguerite d'Youville, we continue the tradition of Catholic health care by sharing in a call to reveal the goodness and love and love of God for all people. Together with the Grey Nuns, we work to build a world where hope and compassion prevail.
