The Hospice at Glengarda is here for our community.
The Hospice at Glengarda is located at 301 Hilliard St E in Saskatoon, in a quiet residential neighborhood.
The Hospice has 15 bright and beautiful individual rooms, providing 24-hour care for patients requiring full-time, hands-on care at end of life. Our multidisciplinary team of Physicians, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Continuing Care Assistants, as well as a Social Worker, Music Therapist, Spiritual Care Specialist, Palliative Arts Specialist, and Life Enhancement Guide uses a collaborative approach to individualize care based on the needs of patients and their loved ones.
Residents and families can do their own laundry, use kitchen and living room spaces, and can access creative arts and multi-faith spaces.
There is no need for a separate application to receive care at the Hospice at Glengarda, and no cost. If you feel you or your loved one would benefit from palliative services, including hospice care, please discuss with your present health care team, and they can assist you with making a referral. If you are not yet connected with Community Palliative Home Care services, please contact CPS intake line at (306) 655-4346.

You can help.
The Hospice at Glengarda was built for our community, by our community, through the generosity of donors who supported The Close to Home Campaign for Hospice and End of Life Care.
This $21 million campaign allowed us to build the first free-standing Hospice in our province, and means that we can provide access to Holistic Care within the Hospice including music therapy, life enhancement services, creative arts therapy and spiritual care.
Today, donors continue to support the provision of:
- refreshments like tea and coffee
- gardening supplies
- games, puzzles, and technology
- art supplies and musical instruments
- seasonal décor and artwork to personalize patient rooms and common areas
- creative materials used for legacy projects such as memory boxes, and
- for patients’ requests such as the purchase of special food items, facilitation of milestone events, and organization of family activities.
The experiences we are able to support for patients and families thanks to donor generosity are truly priceless. We thank you for your thoughtful support.
