MISSION WEEK

Each year in October, St. Paul’s Hospital hosts a special week of festivities in honour of the birthday of our foundress, St. Marguerite d’Youville. In commemoration of this, we celebrate and award staff for living the St.Paul’s mission with the Mission in Action Awards, and hold recommitment ceremonies for staff and managers to remind us of our unique vision in providing care. In keeping with Catholic tradition, St. Marguerite’s birthday is celebrated with a Feast Day, in which we feed all staff, physicians and volunteers a catered meal at no charge. We also provide a small gift to each employee/volunteer who attends the feast.
